How Verification Works
What the blue tick means, how membership works, and what verification does and does not guarantee.
The blue tick
A blue verification tick next to a name means Bankerpedia has confirmed that the person is a real, identifiable individual and, for experts, that their stated credentials are genuine. It is never bought or sold. It is a statement about identity and accountability, not an endorsement of every opinion that person holds.
Becoming a contributor
Anyone can join with a mobile number. Signed-in members can share real rates, file scam alerts and post money confessions. All of these pass human review before going live. Members earn points for approved contributions and can climb the community leaderboard.
Becoming a verified expert
Expert article access is granted to members whose track record and credentials we have reviewed. Experts write under their real name with a public bio, and their work carries a live E-E-A-T scorecard measuring experience, expertise, authoritativeness and trust. Experts are accountable for what they publish.
What verification does not mean
Verification confirms identity and, for experts, credentials. It does not mean Bankerpedia guarantees every claim in every post, and it does not make a contributor an employee or spokesperson. Community content is one person's honest experience, reviewed for safety and plausibility, not audited for absolute truth.
Reporting a problem
If you believe a verified account is not genuine, or a post is inaccurate, contact us and we will investigate. Confirmed errors are corrected and logged publicly.
