Editorial Policy
The standards every piece of content on Bankerpedia is held to before it reaches you.
Our promise
Bankerpedia exists to give people in India honest, first-hand money information they can act on. Every article, rate, scam alert and confession passes through human review before it goes live. Nothing is auto-published.
Who writes here
Expert articles are written by named, verified authors who put their real identity and credentials behind their work. A blue verification tick means we have confirmed that person is who they claim to be. Community contributions (real rates, scam alerts, money confessions) come from signed-in members and are reviewed by our team before publishing.
How we review
Before anything is approved, a human reviewer checks it for accuracy, originality, relevance to Indian banking and finance, and safety. Content that names a bank or person is held to a higher bar and must be stated as personal experience or opinion, not presented as unproven fact. We reject spam, promotional content, anything that could identify an anonymous poster, and anything that shares personal financial details like account or card numbers.
Sourcing
Factual claims in expert articles should cite a primary source wherever one exists. Sources are listed at the foot of each article. We prefer official sources such as the RBI, SEBI, individual bank disclosures and government notifications over secondary reporting.
Independence
There are no paid placements on Bankerpedia. No bank, lender or brand can pay to be ranked higher, reviewed more favourably, or featured. Our rankings and editorial choices are never for sale. If this ever changes, it will be disclosed clearly on this page first.
AI, used honestly
We use AI to help our team moderate faster, tag content, and draft short summaries of human-written articles. AI never writes our expert articles, and any AI-assisted summary is clearly labelled and shown only after a human has reviewed the underlying article. The analysis and accountability are always human.
